　　成功的感覺每個(gè)人都體驗(yàn)過，那種喜悅和自豪的.心情讓自己感覺有了動(dòng)力。但實(shí)際上最值得回味和欣賞的是成功的過程——雖然失敗過，但仍克服困難勇往直前。

　　七月二十一日，我生日那天，我們和大姨老姨一家一起去飯店吃飯。而且還得到了很多禮物，大姨送我兩身新衣服，哥哥送我一套課外書我都挺喜歡可最喜歡的還是老姨夫送的活力板，。我太想滑了：追著老姨夫教我“老姨夫神氣地說：“我一猜你就不會(huì)玩這個(gè)，就讓我這個(gè)高手來教你吧。”

　　吃完午飯，我，弟弟和老姨夫就來到廣場學(xué)習(xí)滑活力板。首先，老姨夫扶著我站到活力板上找平衡。這對我來說根本不在話下，我平平穩(wěn)穩(wěn)地站到了活力板上。“然后右腳前后擺動(dòng)，讓活力板向前滑。”我試著按他所說的做，右腳慢慢擺動(dòng)，活力板真的向前移動(dòng)了。然后老姨夫教我們怎么轉(zhuǎn)彎，他扶著我轉(zhuǎn)了幾圈，我漸漸找到了平衡，就挺自信地讓老姨夫放手。我開始還滑的挺穩(wěn)，可我過于自信，被腳下的一塊小石頭絆倒在地，把我的腿摔破了。

　　我賭氣坐在長椅上。可是當(dāng)我看到弟弟正努力著的身影，我的臉不由得紅了，和弟弟一起學(xué)滑板，我這個(gè)姐姐應(yīng)該起帶頭作用來鼓勵(lì)弟弟，可我現(xiàn)在卻帶頭放棄了……我覺得自己太沒恒心，所以再次站起來。

　　接下來我們學(xué)習(xí)上板，老姨夫說：“一只腳踩在滑板上，往前滑行幾步，有了速度，另一只腳猛地踩上來，這叫上板。”我心想：看起來容易做起來難得好好練呀!我不再“輕敵”，開始全神貫注地滑。“功夫不負(fù)有心人”我竟然能上板了!老姨夫讓我把腳擺動(dòng)的幅度增大，這樣滑得又快又穩(wěn)。

　　這樣一圈一圈地重復(fù)練著……

　　“世上無難事，只怕有心人”，經(jīng)過反復(fù)練習(xí)，我和弟弟都學(xué)會(huì)了滑滑板。雖然差點(diǎn)放棄，但我還是堅(jiān)持到底了，所以我很高興。

　　生活中很多事情也是這樣，只要堅(jiān)持不放棄，就能取得成功。

　　Different people have different views on success. Some hold that making a great deal of money means success. Others argue that holding an important post in the government means success. Still others believe that having a high academic title at a famous university or a research institute means success.

　　In my opinion, success means brilliant achievement in our work. In other words, no matter what we do, making outstanding contributions to the development of our country and bringing help and happiness to others is success.

　　To achieve success, we should, first of all, have a clear long-term goal in our life. Besides, we should have short term goals in different periods of life. As we know, it is these short term goals that make our long-term goal possible. Second, we should be both perseverant and hardworking. Whatever we do, there are always two possibilities: success and failure. We should never lose heart when we come across difficulties or when we are confronted with failure. Instead, we should learn from our experience, build up our confidence and work even harder and smarter towards our purpose. Third, we should follow the examples of those who are successful and learn from them. Finally, we should try to get along well with our classmates and colleagues. We should care for each other and help each other in our study, our work and our life, because team work is of great importance in the realization of our dream.

　　We all have dreams, and we all work hard to realize them. But there will always be some problems and setbacks to stop the pace of advance. When they appear, what should we do? To stop or to go on? Mrs. Curie told us the answer. We all know that Mrs. Curie discovered radium, but how many people really know how hard she worked? At that time, there were many people disapprove of Mrs. Curie. Although she got over hundreds of difficulties, she still believed in herself and never gave up. Finally, she succeeded to discover radium. She proved that she was right by her continuous hard work and her strong spirit. We should learn from Mrs. Curie.
