I Am the Winner
A strange sound came from the kitchen, so I went to have a look. I saw my little cat put its front paws on the edge of the basin, in which there was a fish Id bought. Immediately I knew that the cat wanted to catch the fish I watched them in great interest.
The basin was not very big but full of water. The fish was swimming freely in it. The cat looked at it thoughtfully. When the fish came near the cat, the cat put its paws out to touch it. The fish escaped quickly, so the cat took back its paws and waited aside patiently. A moment later, again the fish was near, the cat had another try and again the fish swam away at once. It seemed that the cat didnt want to catch it. They looked like very good friends and played a game together.
I was puzzled and wanted to know what on earth the cat would do. I waited aside patiently just like the cat.
This routine happened several times. The fish wasnt afraid of the rap so much now. Again the fish came near to the cat. Suddenly the cat put its claws out toward the fish and caught it. The cat cried out as ifit was laughing. What a clever cat!
I turned back and wanted to continue my reading. Suddenly I realized that I wanted the fish for lunch and I had lost it. I sneaked up to the cat, which was sitting on the table. I caught the cat from behind. I took the fish out of the cats mouth.
The cat lost its lunch. I got my lunch. I was the real winner.

廚房里傳出來(lái)一陣奇怪的聲音，因此我走過(guò)去看了看。我看見(jiàn)我的小貓把它的前爪放在盆邊，盆里有我買(mǎi)的一條魚(yú)。我立即明白了貓想抓魚(yú)，我懷著巨大的好奇心觀看著它們。
盆不是很大但裝滿了水，魚(yú)正在盆里自由自在地游著。貓看著魚(yú)，一副思考的樣子。當(dāng)魚(yú)靠近貓的時(shí)候，貓伸出爪子去碰它，魚(yú)馬上逃走了。貓把爪子收回來(lái)，耐心地在旁邊等著。過(guò)了一會(huì)，魚(yú)又靠過(guò)來(lái)了，貓又試了一次，魚(yú)又立刻游開(kāi)了?？雌饋?lái)好像貓并不想抓魚(yú)，他們看起來(lái)就像是好朋友，一起在玩游戲。
我有點(diǎn)不明白，就想看看貓到底想干什么。我在邊上耐心地等著，就像那只貓一樣。
這樣又進(jìn)行了幾次。魚(yú)沒(méi)有那么害怕了。當(dāng)魚(yú)再次游過(guò)來(lái)時(shí)，貓伸出它的。爪子把魚(yú)抓住了。貓叫了一聲，好像在笑似的。多聰明的貓啊!
我轉(zhuǎn)身回去，想繼續(xù)看我的書(shū)。突然我想起了那條魚(yú)是我的午餐，而我卻失去了它。我躡手躡腳地靠近貓，它正坐在桌上。我從后面抓住了它，把魚(yú)從它的嘴里奪了回來(lái)。
貓失去了它的午餐，我得到了我的午餐。我是真正的贏家。
