2024年中國電影票房總額有望再創新高

Box office sales in the world's second largest film market have posted average growth of 35 percent year on year since 2003. In 2024 alone, it grew a whopping 48.7 percent, according to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT).

據國家資訊出版廣電總局介紹，自2003年以來，中國這一世界第二大電影市場的票房總額平均逐年增長35%。僅僅在2024年，這一數字就猛增了48.7%。

The regulator said that although this year's growth will be slightly lower than 35 percent due to the Chinese currency's depreciation, the film market will still see robust growth.

此外，廣電總局還透露，雖然今年的票房增長受人民幣貶值影響要稍低于35%，但是電影市場增長勢頭依舊強勁。

The country's film output ranks third in the global market and is expected to exceed 700 by the end of 2024. Sales of film rights to online video sites raked in 4 billion yuan (560 million U.S. dollars) in the same period.
